In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Summit Players Theatre cancelled its 2020 Shakespeare in the State Parks season to reduce risk for both artists and audience members. We still wanted our friends and patrons to still benefit from free, enjoyable Shakespeare content and education, though, so we created No Bummer Summer: A Digital Shakespeareance.
All summer long, we offered digital audio and video content that audiences could enjoy from home or from the Wisconsin state parks. This includes activities to do with the family (or solo), Shakespeare education and deeper discussions about Summit's history and how we make Shakespeare accessible for audiences.
Summit Players Theatre is happy to continue to make this content available for you to enjoy! Whether you're an audience member looking for something to do, a teacher engaging your students or someone who's never seen the Summit Players perform before, we have something for you!
Don't know where to start? Just pick a category and look for content that interests you!
