MEET THE PLAYERS
Actor, Teaching Artist
A senior Acting major at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Simon has been a theater (and Shakespeare) lover since childhood. He recently appeared as Dr. Joseph Cardin in The Children's Hour and Charles Kean in Red Velvet at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Jack in Into the Woods and Jason Dean in Heathers at Sunset Playhouse, and as Frankie Epps in Parade at Lake Country Playhouse. He would like to thank his parents, his girlfriend Bekah, and his good friend Bizen for supporting him and encouraging his love for theatre and creativity.
Actor, Teaching Artist
Jackson Hoemann is a current student at Marquette University, seen recently on the Marquette stage in Little Women and Clybourne Park. A Minnesota native, he has worked as an actor and teaching artist with Lakeshore Players Theatre and recently interned with the Actors Theatre of MN. He's incredibly excited to work on this production and share this story with all of you!
Executive Director, Actor
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Hannah is so excited to continue the collaboration between the parks she played in as a child and the stages she plays on now. A graduate of Marquette University with a double major in Theatre Arts and Writing-Intensive English, she has a strong belief that the power of words and stories can change the world, and is always on the lookout for projects that can positively impact the kids and the community around her. She has worked both onstage and behind the scenes with a variety of local companies including Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Theatre Gigante, Cooperative Performance Milwaukee, Boulevard Theatre, Windfall Theatre, Northern Sky Theater, and First Stage. She holds an Masters in Library and Information Studies from UW-Madison and loves to combine her work with theater and libraries.
Sydonia Lucchesi is delighted to be working with the Summit Players for the third summer in a row! Besides working regularly in the Milwaukee theatre scene with Skylight Music Theatre, Cooperative Performance, and previously with the late Alchemist Theatre, Sydonia also works with Milwaukee Film during their annual film festival and has done both photography and videography work with Summerfest. She grew up performing in self written plays with her siblings and friends while camping in the state parks every summer, and while she’s now moved on to behind the scenes work, is ever so excited to continue the tradition of live theatre in the parks!
A.J., a recent graduate of Marquette University and founding member of Summit Players Theatre, serves as the company's Managing Director, assisting the company with marketing, publicity, audience relations and general administration. He's excited to get back out to the parks in 2019! A Milwaukee local, A.J.’s regional theatre credits include work with First Stage, Theatre Nervosa, Quasimondo Physical Theatre, Cooperative Performance, Off The Wall Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks and Milwaukee Chamber Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival. You can also see him this coming fall in Theatre Gigante's production of The Beggar's Opera. He is a current Public Relations Assistant with Bottom Line Marketing & Public Relations. Caroline is so excited to be back with this wonderful group of people for another summer full of Shakespeare, workshops, and adventure in the great outdoors! Caroline was seen in Summit’s season last year as Viola and Maria in Twelfth Night. Romeo and Juliet was the first Shakespeare play Caroline ever read, so she is looking forward to bringing this beautiful classic to life. Caroline is an upcoming senior at Marquette University where she is studying Theatre Arts. Some of her Marquette credits include Bonnie in Anything Goes, Amy in Little Women, and Symone in White Privilege. Here’s to another wonderful season with Summit!
Director, Script Adapter
Maureen couldn't be happier about joining the Summit Players for a fifth summer of fun in the State Parks. A graduate of Marquette University, she received her Professional Actor Training MFA at Southern Methodist University. A member of Actor's Equity, she has acted professionally in Milwaukee, Dallas, Seattle, Kansas City, the Oregon Shakespearean Festival, and "Off" & "Off-Off" Broadway. Now focused on directing and teaching, she is on the theatre faculty at Marquette University. Her more than 60 directing and play adaptation credits include projects with Summit Players, Marquette University, Windfall Theatre, The Boulevard Ensemble, Playwrights Studio Theatre, Amethyst Productions, the John Michael Kohler Art Center, Manitowoc Civic Theatre and the Haggerty Museum. Always a Shakespeare lover, she has directed Hamlet, The Winter's Tale, The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, and multiple productions of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, and The Comedy of Errors. Other classical favorites include The Cherry Orchard, Uncle Vanya, The Three Sisters, The Beaux' Stratagem, A Dollhouse, Ghosts and The Rivals.
Armando Harlow Ronconi
Armando Harlow Ronconi is an extremely proud founding member of the Summit Players! He has since moved to the Twin Cities in Minnesota where he continues to do theatre. When unable to perform with the players during the summer, he lends his hand by composing and teaching the music for the production! He is incredibly thankful to be a part of something so special and he would like to thank his family and friends for their constant love and support! Cheers to season 5! <3

Nadja Simmonds is incredibly excited to be back with some of her closest friends performing R&J this summer! Nadja is a recent graduate of Marquette University with a double major in Theatre Arts and Digital Media. Recent credits include Locomotion with First Stage Children's Theater, Muskie Love and Boxcar with Northern Sky Theater, and Burying Hamlet with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival. Nadja also recently served as an assistant director for Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberly at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and is currently one of First Stage Children's Theater's teaching artists for their Summer Academy. After this summer, you can catch her next in Madison performing in Forward Theater's Mary Jane. A huge thank you goes to her family for their continued support, and to Maureen Kilmurry for letting her win at Scrabble that one time. Here’s to a great summer!
Amelia Strahan is a recent graduate of Marquette University with a BA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Costume Design and a minor in Studio Arts through the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Amelia spent the 2018/2019 season at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater as the Costume Construction Emerging Professional Resident. Most recently she designed Enchanted April at Windfall Theater. Amelia is elated to join Summit Players for her second season!
Ryan is elated to be making his Summit Players debut this summer as Romeo. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Parkside in 2018, Ryan has worked with companies such as Door Shakespeare, The Rochester Civic Theatre, and First Stage. He also played roles in The Laramie Project; Aaron McKinney and Matt Galloway; Hosted at the Cabot Theatre by Courage Milwaukee. At Door Shakespeare, he understudied multiple roles as well as performing and serving as fight captain for both The Comedy of Errors and Much Ado About Nothing. Ryan’s other Shakespeare credits include: Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Malcolm in Macbeth. Also in a One-Act version of Hamlet, Ryan played the roles of Hamlet Sr. and Claudius.
